01 “Mirror of the Sky” – Longma Lake Park
Located in Chengdu Eastern New Area, Longma Lake Park covers about 1,633 hectares (around 2,450 mu), with a lake surface of roughly 700 hectares (about 1,050 mu). The vast blue lake shimmers, with waterbirds skimming the surface and island “emeralds” dotting the water.
On sunny days, the clear lake reflects the blue sky and white clouds—Longma Lake Park turns into a “Mirror of the Sky,” and every photo you snap looks stunning. Standing by the lake, you can gaze at the “embroidered hills and clouds” on Longquan Mountain in the distance, or admire the misty lake blending with city buildings, showcasing the seamless beauty of a “park city.”
Take a leisurely bike ride along the lake: the gentle breeze carries the freshness of the water and the calm of plants, wrapping you in comfort and serenity. As the core of Longma Lake CAZ, the park also has full recreational facilities—fairytale-style mini trains and lakeside lounge chairs let you reconnect with nature and enjoy close moments with the lake and mountains.

02 Hills Covered in Red Leaves – Danjing Platform Scenic Area
Recently, the “2025 Chengdu Environmental Health Tour” event was held in Chengdu, announcing the first batch of Chengdu’s “Top 10 Environmental Health Tourism Destinations”—Danjing Platform Scenic Area (in Chengdu Eastern New Area) was among them.
This season, Danjing Platform is a paradise of colors and light. You can not only admire vast colorful foliage forests but also climb high to enjoy the grand view of lakes and mountains. As cold air arrives, leaves drift down, painting the ground with rich autumn hues—yet bright red leaves stand against the wind, glowing brilliantly in the sun, captivating every eye.

03 Reed-Covered Jiangxiuyuan Country Park
Walking in Jiangxiuyuan Country Park, you can see the “Eye of the City” (Danjing Platform) overhead and the forested Longquan Mountain Urban Forest Park in the distance.
Wander deeper into the park, and you’ll find reed beds taller than a person—waves of reeds sway in the wind, making you feel like stepping into a Lilliputian world. Strike a pose and take some of life’s most memorable photos!
By late autumn and early winter, the park’s bright red maples will greet you warmly. At the foot of green hills and beside small lakes, slopes of red leaves stand out vividly against the yellow-green grass.
